Gaius Octavius, Octavian
Augustus was a honorary title of “Illustrious” conferred by the Roman Senate . Octavian lived from 63 BC. to 14 AD. He was the great-nephew and principal heir of Julius Ceasar. From 30 BC to 14 AD he was the sole ruler of the Roman Empire.
