        Timotheus war ein bikulturelles Kind .Seine Mutter (Eunike) war eine gl\u00e4ubige J\u00fcdin und sein Vater war Grieche. (2.Tim. 1:5) Vermutlich war die j\u00fcdische Gemeinschaft nicht sehr begeistert, das Eunike einen Ungl\u00e4ubigen geheiratet hatte. Seine Gro\u00dfmutter (Lois) war auch gl\u00e4ubig.<\/p>\n

        Kindheit und Jugend von Timotheos<\/h3>\n

        Timotheus wurde sehr fr\u00fch in den Schriften unterwiesen. (2. Tim 3:15)<\/p>\n

        In unserem Text wird Timoteus als J\u00fcngling bezeichnet. Das w\u00fcrde bedeuten, das er zwischen 15 und 20 Jahre alt war.<\/p>\n

        Paulus \u00fcber Timotheos<\/h3>\n

        Die zwei Briefe, die Paulus sp\u00e4ter an Timotheus schreibt, verfasst er im Gef\u00e4ngnis am Ende der dritten Missionsreise.<\/p>\n

        In Philipper 2:19-23 lesen wir, wie PaulusTimotheus beurteilt. Er stellt ihm ein sehr gutes Zeugnis aus.<\/p>\n

        Derbe und Lystra<\/h3>\n

        Derbe und Lystra sind zwei antike St\u00e4dte in der heutigen T\u00fcrkei.<\/p>\n

        Lystra, griechisch \u039b\u03cd\u03c3\u03c4\u03c1\u03b1<\/strong>, geh\u00f6rte zu Galatien. Die Stadt lag auf 37\u00b039\u203250.83\u2033 N<\/strong><\/em> und 32\u00b012\u203238.56\u2033 E<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

        Derbe, griechisch \u0394\u03ad\u03c1\u03b2\u03b7<\/strong>, befand sich in der selben Gegend, Lykaonien, aber man wei\u00df nicht genau wo.<\/p>\n
